Family Ski Day

Our first official family ski day this year is scheduled for Sunday, December 30^th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  This is a fun time to come out with your family and friends or to try out cross-country for the first time.  Extra equipment will be available and we hope to have some experienced skiers available to help you get started with some informal lessons.  We will also have some food, hot beverages, and a warm ski chalet to add to your enjoyment. 

Candle Light Ski

Our social committee is planning a candle light ski to take place on Saturday, January 12^th.  Tickets will be sold for this event for $8 each.  We will meet at the chalet at 6:00 p.m., have a short candle light ski at 6:30 then congregate in the chalet for horsd'oeuvres and a fun evening of live music generously provided by the famous local band, the Mud Lake City Boys (a.k.a. the Swamp Boys.)  Because we have limited space in the building, ticket sales will be limited to the first 50 paid guests.  Tickets can be purchased by calling Maria Sanders at 274-5642.  

1^st Annual Rocky Cup Ski Race 

Our race committee chair, Megan Ross, has scheduled Saturday, February 2, 2008 as the date of our first club race.  As this is our first year, this event will be kept on a small, informal scale, with the focus on fun for all ages and skill levels.  Watch for updates on the race plans as they progress.
